Getting started
How to connect or reconnect your Deye Cloud account
MiBa Solar authenticates directly with Deye Cloud. If Deye rejects or expires the stored access token, sign in again with your Deye credentials to create a new connection token.
Use your Deye email address
- Use the full email address registered with Deye Cloud.
Sign in safely
- 1
Check the address
Use the canonical MiBa Solar site and confirm the connection is HTTPS before entering credentials.
- 2
Submit once
Wait for the result instead of opening several sign-in attempts. Repeated failures may trigger temporary rate limiting.
- 3
Resolve the result
A successful sign-in opens the dashboard. A generic failure deliberately does not reveal whether an account or password exists.
Password handling
The password is used only for the server-side Deye token request. MiBa Solar does not keep the plaintext password or its password-equivalent digest after sign-in completes.
Why reconnection is sometimes required
Deye access tokens have an expiry and may also be rejected earlier after account or role changes. The public Deye API currently provides no verified refresh exchange that MiBa Solar can rely on without the password, and MiBa Solar does not store that password.
When authentication is no longer valid, MiBa Solar marks the connection for reauthentication and invalidates its application sessions. Returning to the dashboard without signing in again cannot renew Deye access.
- 1
Open Sign in
Use the same identifier type that belongs to the Deye account.
- 2
Enter the current Deye password
If the password changed, use the new value. MiBa Solar cannot reset a Deye password.
- 3
Confirm the stations
A complete successful sign-in refreshes the station list and removes local stations no longer authorized by Deye for that account.
If sign-in still fails
- Confirm that the same credentials work in Deye Cloud for the EU region.
- Check the email address for typing errors.
- Use the email address registered with your Deye Cloud account.
- Wait before retrying if the form reports too many attempts.
- If Deye Cloud also rejects the login, use Deye's account recovery or contact the account administrator. MiBa Solar cannot view or reset Deye credentials.
