Troubleshooting
Why solar data is offline, stale, partial, or unavailable
First identify the exact state shown by MiBa Solar. Offline, stale, partial, unsupported, authentication-required, and upstream error each have a different cause and next action.
What each state means
- Offline
- Deye reports the station or device as not connected. The solar equipment may still operate locally even when its logger cannot upload monitoring data.
- Stale
- MiBa Solar has a valid last-known snapshot, but its source time is older than the current-data threshold.
- Partial
- Some values or time-series samples are missing. Existing values remain usable with the stated limitation.
- Unsupported / not available
- Deye did not report that measurement for the selected system or period. This is not automatically a fault.
- API or upstream error
- MiBa Solar could not complete a Deye request or validate the response. This differs from Deye reporting the physical system offline.
- Reconnect required
- The stored Deye token expired or was rejected. A fresh credential sign-in is required.
Choose the next action
- 1
Read the source time and state
Do not diagnose from a blank chart alone. Note whether MiBa Solar says stale, offline, partial, unavailable, error, or reconnect required.
- 2
Use Refresh once
A transient delay may clear. Keep the existing data visible while the request finishes and avoid repeated overlapping refreshes.
- 3
Compare with Deye Cloud
If Deye Cloud shows the same offline or missing state, the source is upstream of MiBa Solar. If Deye has current data and MiBa Solar repeatedly does not, record the time and displayed error category for support.
- 4
Reconnect only when requested
A passive page refresh cannot renew an invalid Deye token. Complete the sign-in flow again.
- 5
Escalate physical-system issues safely
For logger connectivity, wiring, BMS, inverter alarms, firmware, or configuration, contact the installer or a qualified professional. MiBa Solar does not change equipment settings.
Why a historical chart can contain gaps
MiBa Solar preserves missing samples instead of drawing a line through them or filling them with zero. A logger or internet interruption can therefore remain visible after the day closes. Closed-day datasets are reused as the recorded history for that dataset version rather than silently rewritten on every visit.
Safe details to record
- The page and selected period, without copying private query parameters.
- The displayed state and source timestamp.
- Whether Deye Cloud shows current data for the same period.
- The browser and approximate time the problem occurred.
- Never send a password, token, authorization header, device serial number, private share tag, or raw API payload.
