Getting started
Getting started with MiBa Solar
MiBa Solar is a read-only monitoring dashboard for Deye solar systems. Sign in with your own Deye Cloud account to see the stations, live readings, history, and reports that account can access.
Before you start
- Use an account that already works in the EU Deye Cloud service. MiBa Solar currently supports the EU datacenter used by EU, EMEA, and supported APAC accounts.
- Have your Deye Cloud email address and password ready.
- Your Deye account must already have access to at least one station. MiBa Solar does not register loggers, devices, or stations.
- Use a current browser with cookies enabled so MiBa Solar can create its secure application session.
Read-only means monitoring only
MiBa Solar can display data and create reports. It cannot change inverter modes, battery limits, schedules, export settings, devices, or stations.
Connect your account
- 1
Open Sign in
Choose Connect Deye Cloud on the MiBa Solar home page.
- 2
Enter your email address
Use the full email address registered with Deye Cloud.
- 3
Enter your Deye credentials
MiBa Solar sends them server-side to Deye over HTTPS. Your password and its Deye-required SHA-256 form are discarded when sign-in finishes.
- 4
Wait for station discovery
After Deye accepts the account, MiBa Solar synchronizes the stations that account can access and opens the dashboard.
What you should see
The dashboard opens on one authorized station. It shows a freshness state, source reading time, supported metric cards, and an intraday power chart. If the account has more than one station, use the station selector to switch between them.
A metric may be absent when the selected Deye system does not report it. MiBa Solar keeps zero, unavailable, unsupported, stale, and offline as different states instead of filling every gap with 0.
Useful next steps
- Read the dashboard guide before comparing Live power with daily energy totals.
- Set your billing cycle start day and optional Low battery percentage in Settings. Open Changelog from Settings to see what each release added.
- Create a report for a known period and compare it with Deye Cloud using the same station, timezone, and dates.
- If sign-in fails, verify the same identifier and password directly with Deye Cloud before trying repeatedly.
